Last month, the GIET Equity Team at The Education University of Hong Kong hosted the fifth session of the Learning Innovations and Emerging Technologies Masterclass Series, in collaboration with the UCL Institute of Education at University College London (UCL).
Prof. Eileen Kennedy from IOE - UCL led the Masterclass session titled "Problem First, Solution Second: How Can We Support Teaching-Led Technology Innovations at Universities?" Prof. Kennedy shared the concept of CoMOOCs and her field experiences in Lebanon, the Thai-Myanmar border and other marginalised areas, illustrating how a teaching-led approach fosters collaborative learning while addressing real-world educator needs.
More than 40 students and staff attended this in-person session, including visiting students from the United Arab Emirates University and Peking University. Stay tuned for our future Masterclass sessions!
